Teaching Assignment:  2nd Grade Teacher

College Attended:  I graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1979 with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Elementary Education.  I added a middle school endorsement from Wayne State College in 1988.

Job Experience:  I taught 1st grade for two years at North Loup-Scotia School.  I then taught the lower grades for nine years at District 52 west of Elgin 10 miles.    This is my 17th year of teaching 2nd grade at Elgin Public School.

Biography:  My husband Scott and I live on a farm southwest of Elgin.  We raise sheep. corn, and soybeans.  We have two boys, Ben and Grant.  I grew up on a ranch in the panhandle of Nebraska.  I enjoy working outside and helping on the farm when ever I can.  I like gardening and canning the produce. I also enjoy watching my boys in their many activities and spending time with my family.
