A new way to recycle!
Paper recycling just got easier!
On a rainy
Monday, the long-awaited GreenFiber dumpster was finally delivered
to Elgin Public School! The days of paper sorting (no neons
or glue), magazine carrying (broken boxes and bags), and awkward
cardboard carrying are over! EPS students will now be able to
place any paper product (paper, magazines, cardboard, chipboard) in
the new GreenFiber dumpster on the school grounds!

2009 Kindergarten Flowers
Art Class
The Kindergarten Art class recently finished their flower
project. Their flowers involved using many different skills
and techniques such as drawing, painting, cutting and gluing.

HARVEST OF HARMONY PARADE
BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR A
PARADE
October 4th couldn’t have
been a nicer day to have a parade. The crowd was fantastic,
the TV crew ready and the bands tuned up. Elgin’s Marching
Eagles traveled to Grand Island for the annual Harvest of Harmony
Parade. We were up at five (yes – am!!!) and on the road at
