Ben Beckman, State FFA Secretary, honored his former school
during NE FFA State Convention held in Lincoln, NE on April 2-4,
2008. Beckman is a 2007 graduate of Elgin Public School and
was elected state secretary during the 2007 state convention.

During the morning session on April 4th, Ben brought
Corey Fisher, Paula Jensen, and Phil Simpson to the stage to thank
them for their help and support of FFA. Paula Jensen, school
secretary, was thanked for her assistance in the school office.
Corey Fisher, principal, was honored for being a supporter of
the Elgin FFA program and role model for students. Phil
Simpson was honored for his guidance as an FFA advisor and his
leadership and service to his students and community.
