2008 Graduation

Elgin Public Schools held their commencement ceremonies on May 10, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The class motto was "Our Lives Are Before Us...Our Past Is Behind Us...But Our Memories Are Forever With Us." Their colors were Black and Silver. A orange rose tipped in silver was chosen as the class flower.
Deb Jones played "Pomp and Circumstance" for the Processional. The "Welcome" was given by Principal, Corey Fisher. The Salutatorian for the class was Jenna Schindler and Valedictorian was Amanda Hemeway.
The EHS chorus, directed by Mrs. Deb Jones, sang "Together We Are One" and "Friends, Always In My Heart". The "Charge to the Class" was by Reverend David Kuhfal. A class video was presented Ms. Darla Butterfield. Diplomas were handed out by Board President, Steve Heithoff. The evening ended with the class presenting flowers to their parents and the Recessional.
