The 2008 One-Act team!The Elgin Public One-Act team has begun work on their play for the year "Jolly Roger: King O' the Pirates." This comedy is set in the 17th century aboard the Albatross, Lady Loveaduck's finest ship. As the ship's crew, Captain Cleverly, Nate, and Dick, cleverly follow closely behind the pirate Jolly Roger and his first mate, Annabelle (so they'll never be attacked), they are joined by Lady Loveaduck and her serving maid, Margaret. Chaos ensues as look-a-likes cause confusion, but in the end, everyone reaches their happy endings!
We have a very talented cast this year and a devoted and ambitious crew! Join us later in the season for our community performance!
