Lion’s Club Scholarship
Information about the scholarship is as follows:
1. The amount of the scholarship is $500. $500 from the Neligh Lion’s Club will be given to the winner chosen from Antelope County.
2. Any Senior who is furthering their education beyond high school may apply for the scholarship who attends an Antelope County High School.
3. To apply for the scholarship, the applicant must complete the information section of the application and type a 250 word composition explaining why you have chosen to further your education. Included with the information application and the composition, you must also include a documentation of 100 Volunteer Work Hours in the last 12 months.
4. Is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
5. The Lion’s Club scholarship is payable 2nd semester.
6. No scholarship application will be accepted after the closing date of March 20, 2009.
7. Applications must be in the hands of Pres. Bill Alderson or Sec. Barb Mahnke on the given date. May be mailed to Bill Alderson POB 161, Elgin, NE 68636 or Barb Mahnke POB 232, Elgin, NE 68636
Application is available from Mrs. Bode along with a documentation form for community service hours.
