The Elgin FFA Chapter will be collecting NEW Children/Youth Size 8-14 Pajamas for Christmas. All members are asked to bring in at least one pair. They can be brought in any time between December 1st -14th. 

 

 Anyone else wishing to donate a new pair of pj's is more than welcome to drop them off in the Agriculture classroom. The Pajama Project has been a collaboration of  radio stations; 106 Kix,  WJAG, and Lite Rock 97-5 KEXL with the Salvation Army.  KEXL collects new (nothing used) pairs of pajamas that are distributed to families by the Salvation Army.

 

Anyone interested in purchasing old wolfpack football jerseys please see Mr. Eisenhauer or Mr. Becker.  They are $10 each

Congratulations to the Jr. Team of FFA livestock judgers on placing 3rd at the district contest and qualifying for State next April!   There were 38 Jr. Teams at district and 140 Individuals.

2. There will be a sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the FACS kitchen until the end of October for ALL FCCLA members to sign up for THEIR CHOSEN STAR EVENT. You may choose a group or individual event. We want this done now so Mrs. Schwartz/Mrs. Wemhoff have adequate time to help prepare you for the contest in January, 2017!!!

1. ALL JUNIOR AND SENIOR FFA members need to bring bars/cookies (1 dozen) for FEED the Farmer Friday 

 2.Reminder the Labor Auction is Friday, Oct 7th after the FB game

3. ALL FFA members MUST come to the fair grounds on Sunday Oct 9th at 4pm to set up for livestock judging.

4. All AVAILABLE FFA members must come to the fair grounds after school on TUESDAY Oct 11th to finish setting up for livestock judging

5.ALL FFA members MUST bring at Least 3 dozen bars or cookies for the livestock contest Wed. Oct 12th.

6. There is a sign up sheet in the ag room for those that are going to the "dedication, livestock friendly county" event at Thiele Dairy Thursday, Oct 13th. We will leave after 6th period.  A bus will bring back VB gals in time for games and FB boys you will be back in time to leave for you game. If you work after school, please let your bosses know what is going on so you can have that time off.  Remember they want you to wear Official Dress!

 

Elgin Education Association is painting paw prints around town for $25 or $15. Stop by the office and pick up a form or ask an EEA member.

 

The stage in the gym is “off limits” until AFTER one-act play is completed for the year.
