Mrs. Krista Eisenhauer
3rd Grade Teacher
Teaching Assignment: 3rd Grade
Colleges Attended: I graduated from Wayne State College in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I also graduated in May of 2008 with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State College.
Job Experience: This is my 6th full year of teaching at Elgin Public School. I will have taught for 6 1/2 years at Elgin after this year.
Biography: My husband Randy teaches 5th grade here at Elgin and also coaches football and girls basketball. We live in Elgin with our daughters, Keyera and Kierstyn. We also have two miniature schnauzers, Dodger and Jayhawk. I am originally from Onawa, Iowa where my family still resides. In between sports seasons and keeping up with the girls, I enjoy scrapbooking, golfing, walking, shopping, and being with my family.
Teaching Goals: My teaching goal is to be a teacher that encourages self discovery and lifelong learning. I want my students to know that you will never stop learning even as you get older. I also want to help each one of my students be the best readers that they can be!
