James M. and Martha J. Perry Agricultural Scholarship

Eligibility:
Current graduating senior of Elgin Public High School seeking a degree in an agricultural related field; must possess the ability to do post-secondary work in a satisfactory manner; WILL NOT be awarded to a student who has received a scholarship(s) that sufficiently covers tuition, books and fees

- Lincoln Community Foundation Application from link listed above
- Grade transcript
- Copy of ACT scores
- Essay to address each of these topics: 1) Why you are interested in pursuing an education in agriculture 2) how this education has a direct relationship to a permanent career objective; and 3) why you are deserving of this award.
- Two current letters of recommendation written by teachers, counselors, clergy, employers neighbors, etc. ( family members are not acceptable)
- One $500 scholarship will be awarded
