December 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Early
Childhood Education.
Job Experience: This is my first full-time teaching position. In the spring of 2009, I worked as a substitute teacher.
Biography: I am originally from Humboldt, Nebraska and
graduated from Humboldt/Table Rock-Steinauer High School in 2004.
In May of 2008 my husband Clint and I were married, and I joined
him in Albion where he is employed as a deputy sheriff for Boone
County. I completed my college degree by student teaching at Boone
Central Elementary from August through December of 2008. In my
spare time, I enjoy singing, reading, shopping, and spending time
with my husband and other friends and family.
Teaching goals: As a teacher, I do my best to create an environment where all of my students feel valuable and capable. I believe that all children can be successful learners, and I try to encourage and challenge my students in order to help each one of them reach his or her full potential. In addition, I want to inspire a love for learning within each one of my students by providing them with enjoyable educational experiences.
