Junior Volleyball Teams Conclude Their Season With Victories!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe 5th and 6th grade Junior volleyball teams concluded their season this week in the Quad County Volleyball League by placing in their respective tournaments. After going 6-1 in the regular season, the 5th graders received 2nd place in the tournament that saw round-robin action on Saturday and a double elimination tournament on Sunday while the 6th grade team concluded their regular season with a 4-2 record and fought hard to receive 3rd place in the tournament. The regular season started on Sunday, August 22 and games were played in Albion each week.
5th grade team members were Breanna Carr, Anna Heilhecker, Emma Kerkman, Vada Kruse, Kaylee Martinsen, Maddie Schrage, Lauren Seier, and Kira Widger. The 6th grader team members were Heather Bauer, Breanna Couch, Maddie Dilly, Grace Henn, Sydney Kerkman, Callie Krebs, Marie Meis, Paige Meis, Elizabeth Mlnarik, and Nicki Payne. Both teams were coached by Amy Selting and Sandi Henn.
