EPS Field Day
On a beautiful Monday afternoon, EPS held a Field Day for all 3rd -6th graders. They started the afternoon by breaking into teams with each grade level represented. Each team then rotated through ten different stations with activities such as a softball throw, shoe kick, an obstacle course, and of course the favorite, the sponge toss with Mr. Eisenhauer. After the stations, teams competed against each other in field day classics such as the 3-legged race and tug of war. The activities ended with water donated by the Elgin Education Association and some delicious watermelon. Special thanks to the high school kids for running the events, Mr. Eisenhauer for being the “target”, and EEA’s financial support!
