Beautiful day at Olsen Nature Preserve
The biology students after a great day of observing nature.
The weather was warm and the breeze was cool--this made for a perfect day for our annual Olsen Nature Preserve trip! We didn't see the snake this year (much to the relief of many students), but ticks took the snake's place as a pest.
There was no snake this year, but ticks overtook the group throughout the trip.
This trip was part of the final project for these biology students as they complete their culminating project dealing with ecosystems.
It's easy to overlook the greatness of nature until one stops and looks!
