Laurie Waterbury ElginTeacher | Nov 20, 2014 | I attended Elgin Public School (K-12) from 1967 to 1980. I had many fine teachers, but my most inspiring teacher is one that continues to educate students at EPS today...Mrs. Barb Bode....back then we called her Miss Mann. She taught me so many things, but I also remember how she cared about her students. She expected us to do our very best. She was a very organized teacher which I really appreciated. She inspired me to choose my career as a teacher. I am so glad that she continues to be a teacher who supports and inspires our students at EPS today...Thank you, Mrs. Bode! |
