Donuts With Dad Enjoyed By All

What can be better than starting the day with your Dad, a donut and some reading? Donuts With Dad is an annual event at Elgin Elementary School and the students and Dads always have an enjoyable time. The day starts early for these students and they arrive at the gym with their dad at 7:30 a.m. They grab a donut, juice or coffee and find a good spot to read. A large selection of books is available for them to share with their dad. Sometimes the students are reading to their dad and sometimes the dads are reading to the children. The bell rings at 8:00 and the students and dads depart for the rest of their day! Thank you to all the students and dads that participated in our event!
