2018 NVC Art Show

Elgin 7-12 Art students participated in the NVC Art Show held at Stuart April 26th and 27th. The seven high school students earned 29 ribbons that included 3 Judge's Merit awards (purple), eight Blue ribbons for Superior work, nine Red ribbons for Excellent work, six Yellows for Commendable work and three Greens for Honorable Mention artwork. The 23 junior high students earned 53 ribbons that included two Judge's Merits, 18 Superiors, 16 Excellents, ten Commendables and seven Honorable Mentions.
Earning Judge's Merit Awards for the high school were Kira Widger, Breanna Carr and Garet Behnk. JH winners were Camryn Pelster and Chris Robinett.
Blue ribbon winners were high school students Garet Behnk (2), Breanna Carr, Kira Widger (3), Shelby Dohmen and Thomas Morrow. Representing the junior high was Jessica Getzfred (3) Jack Wemhoff (2), Jeslynn Beckman (2) River Romej (2), Peyton Cox (2), Kristopher Moreno, William Heilhecker, Brittney Headlee, Grace Mace and Collin Lindgren.
Red ribbon recipients for high school were Breanna Carr (4), Thomas Morrow, Garet Behnk (3) and Shelby Dohmen. The junior high winners were Corbin Kinney (3), Kristopher Moreno (3), River Romej, Jack Wemhoff, Colton Wright (2), Collin Lindgren, Jessica Getzfred, Norman Grothe, Jeslynn Beckman, Camryn Pelster and Austin Good.
Yellow ribbons in high school went to Shelby Dohmen, Kira Widger, Garet Behnk (2), Thomas Morrow and Mateo Kirstine. Junior high winners were Jack Wemhoff ,Camryn Pelster, Norman Grothe, Colton Wright, Riley Vitamvas, William Heilhecker (2), Brittney Headlee, Trinity Graham and Jessica Getzfes
Earning Green ribbons were Mateo Kirstine, Garet Behnk and Carter Schindler. Junior high winners were Kristopher Moreno, River Romej, Corbin Kinney, Grace Mace, Ethan Hinkle, Blake Ofe and Riley Vitamvas.
