THE LAWRENCE GOSCHA MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Lawrence Nicholas Goscha was born on November 13, 1925, near Clearwater, Nebraska. He was one of 13 children. He attended country grade schools and graduated from Clearwater High School in 1942. For most of his adult life, Lawrence farmed with his brother in Antelope County. His Catholic faith and education were important to Lawrence, and it was his wish that he would give area youth an opportunity to further their educations, particularly in the area of agriculture. Lawrence loved the land and was a life long learner. These scholarships will honor his memory.
The late Lawrence Goscha, in cooperation with the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF), has established two annual scholarships in the amount of $5000. The Selection Committee will consist of one member of the Goscha Fund Advisory Committee along with members chosen by individual schools.
