Boone Central High School will host the 63rd annual Boone Central Choral Clinic.  There will be eighteen schools participating this year.  Those schools are Aurora, Battle Creek, Boone Central, Cedar Rapids, Central City, Clearwater, Columbus Lakeview, Columbus Scotus, Elgin Public, Elkhorn Valley, Humphrey St. Francis, Newman Grove, Neligh/Oakdale, Pope John XXIII, Spalding/Spalding Academy, St. Edward, Twin River and Wheeler Central.

The guest clinician will be David Sackschewsky, Vocal Director at Grand Island Northwest High School where he conducts seven choirs with over 300 students.  Under his direction, the Northwest Concert and Show Choirs have performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City, the National High School Choir Festival in San Francisco, and the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D. C.   His show choirs have won many Grand Champion and 1st Place honors at jazz festival competitions.

The choir will rehearse all day and perform a concert for the public in the evening.  The concert is Monday, January 21, 2008 and will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Boone Central High School gym in Albion.   Admission for the concert will be $3.00 for students and adults.
