Good luck to Mario Kart Team 2 today as they take on Bloomfield today at 2:50pm in the second round of playoffs.

Students: Reminder to check the lost and found table - there are alot of items there! 

Student-Led Conferences have been rescheduled for next Wednesday (3/26).  Same times, 4-7pm. 

The City of Elgin is hiring - there are applications in the office if you are interested! 

Seniors - The Elgin Review Questionnaires are at the office window, please stop by and grab one. They need to be returned to the office by April 4th. 

Students in grades 9-11:  If you are interested in applying for the Nebraska Rural Electric Youth Energy Leadership Camp which will be held July 21-25, 2025 at Camp Comeco in Cozad, NE, please talk to Mrs. Rittscher by March 21.

Prom:  Saturday, March 22, 2025 - KC Hall:

Professional prom pictures taken by Kimberly's Photography will be held before the grand march this year at the KC Hall. She will take individual/couple pictures and do group pictures (senior class, junior class, sr. boys, sr. girls, jr. boys, jr. girls, etc.).

•      Juniors:  3:45 pm - 4:25 pm
•      Seniors:  4:30 pm - 5:15 pm
• You will still be able to take informal pictures with friends and family after the grand march before we sit down to eat.
  • Grand March:  6:00 pm (open to the public)
  • Supper:  6:45 pm
  • Dance: 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm
  • Post Prom:  11:00 pm (EPS Gym)

JUNIORS: We will be decorating for prom beginning 8th period (if you have study hall) on Friday, March 21.  If you do not have study hall 8th period then come to the KC Hall right after school.  Please clear work schedules and plan on being there. As a Junior, if you are planning on attending prom, you must pay a $25 deposit to be admitted to the prom.  You will get your $25 returned to you when you come to clean up on Sunday, March 23 at 3:00 pm. Deposits should be given to Mrs. Heithoff by March 17.

For anyone who rented a tuxedo thru Roxi's Elegant Bridal in Norfolk for the prom weekend of March 22nd, Emily Borer will return it if brought to school by 8:15am on Monday, March 24th.  Please lay on the chair outside of the office and make sure all pieces are accounted for.  

The following students need to schedule a make-up session with Mrs. Rittscher for the missed content from Prevention Solution's session on Substance Use & Abuse: Rylee, Austin and Samantha (x2). Several of you have also received emails for retake sessions that need to be scheduled as well.

•  FFA Meeting/Supper Tuesday March 25th at 6pm. Everyone that is participating in State FFA is required to attend.

WEDNESDAY:

• Student-Led Conferences 4-7pm
• NVC Quiz Bowl at Boyd County

THURSDAY: 

• Enrichment Day at Barlett
