EAGLE PRIDE POSTERS

“Can’t Hide That Eagle Pride” “Go For The Gold” “Pride Matters Everywhere” where a few of the slogans the 7-12 classes came up with on their “Eagle Pride” posters.  One of the early focuses this year is pride at Elgin Public Schools.  We feel that pride matters and if students are proud of their school it will show not only in posters but in their school work as well.

So nice to see the Eagles flying high again!! All of the posters are GREAT but if I have to choose just one I would go with the Freshmen. Keep up the good work everyone.

By the way, Seniors . . . the homecoming poster competition? IT'S ON, my dear friends!

Ah, yes . . . the freshman poster! It's no wonder that it reigns supreme. After all, look at the class who made it. And, of course, let's not forget that they have the greatest sponsors of all times, right Miss J!?

Just to clarify an earlier comment: "They [freshmen] have the greatest sponsors of all times now that Mrs. Walsh is on hiatus from sponsorships this year." Who can forget the Dynamic Duo? One day we will be in the Class Sponsors Hall of Fame, my dear friend!

Alright, Seniors. Quit encouraging Mrs. Klein. You are aware of the fact that I can decide how long your research papers will be, right? : )

Okay children, you're supposed to vote for your favorite poster not sponsor. Anyway, we all know that the students learned everything they know about creating fantastic posters from their wonderful Art teacher! :)

If that were really true, there would be a lot more use of the color purple!

While we all know that "Purple is always a good color choice" the students recognize that their school colors of orange and black were what was right for the posters. Again, I have taught them well! :)
