Wonderful World of Water 2023
Mr. Childers recently took 11 Freshmen to Wonderful World of Water at Gilman Park in Pierce. They learned about the protection of natural resources from the Nebraska Resources District. Throughout the day, the students learned about pollution, Nitrate levels in groundwater, no-till farming methods, aquatic insects, trees, wetlands, and (their favorites) turtles and snakes. Fun was had by all, and the day concluded with a water bottle rocket competition.
