Since this school year was cut short, we decided to end the year with a fun project called "Adventures with Flat Mrs. Eisenhauer."  This idea comes from the chapter book Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown.  Stanley is an ordinary boy until one night when his bulletin board falls on him and flattens him.  All of a sudden, Stanley can slide under doors, mail himself across the country in an envelope, and fly like a kite.  He goes on many adventures and even helps solve a crime.

The third graders received a "Flat Mrs. Eisenhauer" in their last homework packet.  Their homework was to take me on some adventures so I could see all that they have done during this time apart.  Looks like I was very busy and learned a lot during this time!  Thanks for a great year third graders!  Enjoy your summer!
