Donations can be given to your study hall teachers. There is also a donation box in the office.

Two FFA members Accepted to Ag Issues Academy-----
Justine Meis and Tre Henkenius, members of the Elgin FFA Chapter, have been selected to attend the Ag Issues Academy during the Nebraska State FFA Convention. They were 2 of the 36 accepted from a field of 76 applicants.
participants will attend round robin sessions where they will learn how to speak to lawmakers and communicate to the media. Representatives from the broadcast, news editorial and public relations media fields will present ways of telling agriculture’s story. A trip to the Capitol accompanied by agriculture lobbyists will introduce participants to our state’s Legislature.

Congratulations to the speech team on a terrific performance on Friday at the Lindsay Meet.
Both duet teams broke finals, which means that of the 33 duet teams that performed that day, they were in the top six. Ethan and Danny placed 6th overall and Juliana and Ivy placed 5th overall.
The OID teams both had fantastic performances as well, one narrowing missing finals.
Great job everyone!
