Golf on Saturday is postponed but we will not be able to attend on the new date.

 

Anyone who rented a tux for prom from Roxi's in Norfolk,  Emily Borer  will return them on Sunday to Norfolk if you wish.  Jessie Reestman will be collecting them following the prom dance and before post prom.  Please put together in bag,  including shoes.   Otherwise Roxis will be open from 4-5 pm Sunday for returns or Monday 9:30-4.

1.  Picture envelopes from Kimberly's Photography are available at the office.  If you want pictures from Kimberly's for prom, fill out the envelope and bring with payment to prom. (Pictures 7:30 pm)

 

2.  Juniors:  Remember to turn in your $25 clean-up deposit by the end of the day on Monday, April 8 to Mrs. Heithoff. You will not be let into prom if this is not paid. You will get your money back when you come to clean up on Sunday, April 14 at 4:00 pm.

 

3.  All juniors and seniors and their dates should be at the KC Hall no later than 6:45 pm for the Grand March  (7:00 pm). If you do not wish to participate in the Grand March, please let Mrs. Heithoff know as soon as possible.

Congratulations to all FFA members that participated in the 91st NE State FFA Convention. Highlights:

The Chapter was the 3rd Place overall Chapter for the " I Believe in the Future of Ag" Campaign. 

Kali Dworak was the 3rd Overall Ind. in the Agriscience Contest (out of about 450 contestants and only 1 point from winning!)

Ally W. and Kaylee were 2nd in their division in the Agriscience Fair competition

RJ Lierman was 2nd in his division in the Agrisceince Fair competition

Many other members and teams earned purple ribbons for their efforts in competitions! 

Thank you to all members for representing your school and community fantastically!

2.  Juniors:  We will load things to take down to the KC Hall during 8th period on Friday and then start decorating.  Meet in Mrs. D Heithoff's room.  If you are out for track or golf, you should report to the KC Hall immediately after practice (you can still help during 8th period).If you are involved in District Music I will expect you at the KC Hall as soon as you get back.  Remember to turn in your $25 clean-up deposit by the end of the day on Monday, April 8 to Mrs. Heithoff. You will not be let into prom if this is not paid. You will get your money back when you come to clean up on Sunday, April 14 at 4:00 pm.

Anyone wishing to donate non-perishable food, cleaning supplies, or hygiene supplies to flood victims in the Niobrara-Verdigre area, you can drop off items to either school in Elgin.   Items will be collected until Wed. March 27th at noon.  We are putting the EPS Trailer on the Eagle’s Nest, let’s see if we can fill it!

Congratulations to the speech team on their 5th place finish at state speech. Thirty-three teams competed in Class D2.

Four of their eight events qualified for finals, resulting in nine medals.

Kira placed 3rd in Serious Prose.

The Duet of Kira and Theanna placed 5th.

Grace placed 5th in Humorous Prose.

The OID of Hunter, Kira, Grace, Adam, and Theanna placed 6th.

Hunter and Grace each received a Superior Rating in Entertainment Speaking. 

Jordan earned a Superior Rating in Informative Speaking.

Cory and Adam received an Excellent Rating in Duet Acting.

Congratulations on a terrific season!
