Help us Pick our Lipdub Song!

The Digital Media class is in the planning stages to create a lip dub and need your help!  What is a lip dub you may be asking yourself?  According to Wilkipedia, a lip dub is a type of video that combines lip synching and audio dubbing to make a music video. It is made by filming individuals or a group of people lip synching while listening to a song or any recorded audio then dubbing over it in post editing with the original audio of the song. Often they look like simple music videos, although many involve a lot of preparation and production. Lip dubs can be done in a single unedited shot that often travels through different rooms and situations within a building. O'Neill High School created one last spring and is our inspiration for the lip dub we hope to create.  Check out their lip dub at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9rt6-N0KSE&feature=related.  We hope to perform and tape our lip dub during homecoming week in October.

But, we need your help!  Let us know what song you would like us to use for the lip dub by posting your comments below.  The three finalist are:

Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts

Take a Back Road by Rodney Atkins

19 Somethin' by Mark Wills

We will tally the votes and make a final decision on what song we should use!  Thanks for your help!
