Elgin Public School is pleased to announce our participation in Learning Adds Up (LAU), a unique partnership with Discovery Channel. LAU promotes student achievement with the Discovery Channel's new homework help tool, COSMEO, while raising money for our school.

We are all interested in providing our children with productive activities, that promote learning. I believe that this program is a great opportunity to help your child and our school.

Here are some of COSMEO's great features:

Equivalent of an encyclopedia, instructional television, and tutoring all rolled into a single, SAFE place on the Internet
Consists of 30,000 video segments, plus Brain Games and much more
Provides opportunities for children to watch videos, go on scavenger hunts, and experience all the things young people enjoy with media while learning
