One-Act Team Earns District Runners-Up
“You knocked my socks off!”

This was a judge’s quote given to the Elgin One-Act team this week at the district competition held in Stuart. The team earned a superior rating and took home the 2nd place trophy. Their performance of “Hard Candy” by Jonathan Rand went perfectly, showcasing the team’s season-long hard work. This is a remarkable accomplishment for any team, but particularly impressive for a team as fresh to the one-act scene as this year’s.
District acting awards were presented to Dana, Kayla, Wes, and Ben (for both his roles).
