6th grade Atom Models

6th graders with their Atom Models

This last week 6th graders have been learning about an atom and what makes an atom.  Students have been studying the subatomic parts of an atom and how each subatomic particle functions.  After studying for a couple days they had to get creative and come up with a Atom model.  These students did an exceptional job with them and locating all the correct parts. After voting in class the students voted that Madison and Chris had the most unique atoms.  Madison and Brett's atom were voted by the class as the atom that was the clearest to understand.  Excellent job 6th graders!!

Nice work 6th graders! I can see you put forth a great effort in building your models of a atom.
