SOLO CONTEST A SUCCESS!

The Elgin Elementary Solo-Ensemble Contest was held Saturday, March 29, 2008. Twelve schools participated including: Clearwater, Stanton, Creighton, St. Edward, Cedar Rapids, Verdigre, Orchard, Neligh-Oakdale, North Loop-Scotia, Battle Creek, Greeley-Wolbach and Elgin. Five judges rated the students for their performances. They were Larry Jones, Darrell Neitzke, Rob Hartung, Randy Neuharth and Chad Dean.
These are the results of the Elgin students. We received 21 Superiors (1) and 3 Excellents (2). The Cadet Band also received a Superior. Congratulations to all the students on an excellent representation of Elgin Public Schools!
