The 8th Grade artists are taking a break from their paper mache sculptures to create clay animals.  They reviewed the hand building clay methods of pinch, slab and coil.  They were also reminded how important scoring is when joining two pieces of clay together.  They choose to create animals for their project.  After a couple of days of sketching they began their project.  Click on the photo to view their progress.
