JH Volleyball Action
The Wolfpack Junior High volleyball team saw action in three games the last two weeks against O’Neill St. Mary’s, Ewing, and Humphrey.
On Monday, September 19 both the A and B team lost to St. Mary’s. On Wednesday, the B team traveled to Ewing for two games, but fell short all four sets, 20-25, 8-25, 12-20, 14-20.
Monday, September 26 the A and B teams played Humphrey with the A team being victorious in two, 25-15, 25-22. Jordan Mescher had three ace serves while Liz Selting had two. Jenna Parks led the team with 6 set assists and Terri Seier had four kills, followed by Nikki Beckman with two and Liz Selting and Jill Schindler with one apiece. The B team lost in three sets to Humphrey, 16-25, 25-20, an d5-25. Morgan Carpenter had three ace serves, Avenly Short two, and Tiarra Thramer had one. Amy Nelson had one set assist while Avenly Short had one kill.
The next action for the Lady Wolfpack will be away games on Monday, October 3 against Chambers/Wheeler Central and Wednesday, October 5 against Cedar Rapids.
